Iron Cross Canine develops multi-purpose K9s, service dogs for combat veterans, and personal protection dogs. Every dog is trained to the highest standard in accordance with the Iron Cross Canine ethos.

Programs and services

• Multi-Purpose / Duty Canines
Developed for detection, tracking, and apprehension with real-world deployment standards. These dogs are conditioned for high-risk operations, tactical clarity, and seamless communication with their handlers.

• Service Dogs for Combat Veterans
Stable, reliable partners trained to support veterans with daily tasks, grounding techniques, and emotional stability. Each dog is carefully matched and trained for the lifestyle, mobility needs, and goals of the veteran they will serve.

• Personal Protection Canines
Real protection—not theatrics. These dogs are balanced, obedient, and decisive under pressure, suitable for vetted military members, veterans, law enforcement, and civilians who require a dependable guardian for home or personal safety.

Every dog trained by Iron Cross Canine is built to the highest standard—balanced, controlled, and capable under pressure—because your needs determine the mission, and the mission determines the dog.

Chris Harrison

Chris is a U.S. Army Veteran with more than 16 years of combined military and law-enforcement experience, including eight years as an Infantry Reconnaissance Team Leader. During a combat deployment to Iraq, his squad came under indirect mortar fire. A round landed just meters away, sending shrapnel into his legs and ultimately leading to multiple surgeries and a full hip replacement.

That experience didn’t end his service, it reshaped it. Today, Chris channels that same drive into training canines that protect, support, and stand beside warriors, law enforcement professionals, and families.

His K9 career began in law enforcement, where he served as a dual-purpose K9 handler for five years. He was attached to a DEA task force as a handler/Task Force Officer and operated on a multi-jurisdictional SWAT team, giving him real-world experience in high-risk deployments, detection work, tracking, and apprehension. Chris is a certified MPC Trainer and Kennel Master.

Every dog is trained to the highest standard in accordance with Iron Cross Canine protocols—balanced, controlled, and capable under pressure. These are not just trained dogs; they are dependable partners built for real life.

Tailored Working Dogs for Your Specific Needs

At Iron Cross Canine, every dog is trained with purpose. Chris doesn’t use a one-size-fits-all approach—each canine is developed to meet the specific needs, environment, and goals of the client, whether that’s a combat veteran, a law-enforcement agency, or a civilian household seeking real protection.
